On a path where no one else goes
A heavy sky, where the moon hides,
Not even she can see the fear in your eyes
Wind so cold it burns
For home your heart yearns
The road is never clear
In the throes of winter fear
Winds of hate from all directions
Whipping your face with menacing perfection
Your mind's on fire..anxiety grows
Cursing yourself for this life that you chose
Far from fires warm
As you see landscapes transform
Through half closed eyes you peer,
Into the heart of winter fear
Your mind explodes as, you slip towards the chasm
Burning with pain, your hands hold on to almost nothing
Tears freeze to your face, the last remnants of what you had
Bitter memories of love..you are now less than a man
Frozen with fear..
Nature does not care about what is or is not fair
You had your chance to live but yourself will you forgive?
Hope begins anew as you find solid ground
Whitewashed lands the sun has now found
Once again on your feet you peer,
Beyond the heart of winter fear
